The Texas Beef Council (TBC) continued as a long-standing supporter of the Family Career and Community Leaders of Tomorrow Mystery Basket competition. Mystery Basket recognizes participants enrolled in occupational foodservice training programs for their ability to display knowledge and skill-based learning of the culinary arts. Individuals produce a single plate containing a serving of protein, starch and vegetable.  More than 350 students participated in competitions in Waco, Corpus Christi, Galveston, Lubbock and Dallas, Texas. Beef was provided as the mystery protein ingredient in the competitions.
