Burger Month in Texas

May was National Burger Month and the Texas Beef Council (TBC) celebrated by securing burger recipes in seven online, print and television media outlets garnering nearly 160,000 impressions.  TBC shared the Western Burger recipe which is a perfect, guilt-free way to celebrate the month-long holiday and gives a nutritious spin on one of Texans’ summertime staples fit for any backyard gathering.  The Western Burger recipe and many more can be found online at BeefLovingTexans.com.

The Texas Beef Council (TBC) conducts the $1 per head national checkoff program for Texas beef producers and is also the contractor for the Beef Promotion Research Council of Texas (BPRCT), which administers the $1 per head Texas state checkoff program. TBC’s mission is to increase beef demand in the state through programs of beef promotion, research and education.
