The Texas Beef Council continued as a long-standing supporter of the Family Career and Community Leaders of Tomorrow (FCCLA) Mystery Basket competition. The Texas Beef Council’s (TBC) nutrition team recently participated in the Texas Academy of Physicians Assistants conference in San Antonio reaching the 400 health professionals in attendance.
Farm to Fork Tour
The Texas Beef Council recently hosted 24 dietetic interns and their faculty for a farm to fork tour. The tour began with attendees learning more about beef nutrition through presentations covering the evolution of lean beef, beef’s nutrient profile and a summary of beef nutrition research.
